Alfredo's Roses.
.Alfredo Rampi was an Italian child who was the victim of a tragic event on 10 June 1.
A well, a tunnel of earth. The fall, the darkness, the impossibility of movement in situations without our contr.
At about 7:00pm on that day, Alfredino fell into an artesian aquifer which was only 30 centimeters wide however 80 meters deep. Rescuers tried desperately to save him making this a notorious media event. It was the first time in Italy that a live outside broadcast had attracted millions of people following the events on TV”.
This was the beginning of a “Pain tv”. Entire families were unhealthily glued to the television screen. The voice of Alfredino Rampi was captured with a microphone lowered into the well and sent to unified networks. Television made a terrible use of a tragic of pain.
Thousands of people are buried under the earth. Thousands of desires are still there. Everywhere there are cavities and it is so complicated to escape; but it is possible. A project about the feeling we get from the ground, the fear and the capacity to preserve the hopes.
A silent way to remember others pain.
